EMOTIONAL FREEDOM TECHNIQUES:
TAPPING POINTS
SBC
In one randomized, double-blind pilot study, 5000 patients were diagnosed at intake with an anxiety
disorder.  They were randomly assigned to an
experimental group (tapping) or a control group (Cognitive
Behavior Therapy/medication).  At the close of therapy:

63% of the control group had improved
90% of the experimental group had improved
51% of the control group were symptom-free            76% of the experimental group were symptom-free

A follow-up at one year showed that the experimental group were less prone to relapse or partial relapse
than those receiving Cognitive Behavior Therapy/medication.  In a related pilot study by the same team,
the length of the therapy was substantially shorter with energy therapy and related methods than with
Cognitive Behavior Therapy/medication (mean=3 sessions versus mean=15 sessions).

Sore Spot  The yellow circle shows
the location of the "sore spot," which
can be rubbed gently as an alternative
to tapping on the Karate Chop point
located on the hand.  This area is
larger than the tapping points, and is
one of the areas in the body where
lymph fluid tends to collect.  You'll
probably know when you find it!
